Leave The Plastic On Season 2 For Rifco Theatre

I was commissioned by Rifco Theatre to write for Leave The Plastic On Season 2, where I wrote three sketches centring around the characters of Lucky and Johnny - an eccentric and sometimes odd relationship between a Christian Punjabi single mother and her teenage son. Lucky is a working class, newly made single mother, finding her footing after divorce and raising her teenage son, all on her own. During the three sketches we get a look into their cooky and unstable lives, whilst commentating on the struggles of a South Asian single mother.
